I got a message like that too last night, but so far the fic itself
isn't messed up. I wonder if this is just the latest move by FF.net to
try to make the program choke.

It appears that they made some changes to the website specifically the story list on the author pages.  DeFFNetIzer and my FicSavers site look for specific points in that list to pull out the info.  Any formatting change will throw it off.

I am logge in remotely at the moment and won't be home for several more hours.  DeFFNet & FicSavers are first on the list of things to do when I get in.

Thanks,
Chad

Based on the front page, it looks like a change they made recently is removing the updated date when the published date is the same (IE single chapters or multiple chapters all uploaded in one day). That may very well be whats causing the problem. What story is it coming from?

Actually I believe that the programs use the first chapter page to get the title and author info and not the story list on the author page. My mistake on that... It looks like they changed the top of the story pages and moved the author line.

They're changing the format of the chapter pages. The author name and
chapter dropdown are now on a line of their own, with the pic from the
author profile next to their name, and a count of how many stories the
author has posted.
