Prices for Shows on CD & DVD

Hi gang,

Long time no discussion here. Don't be afraid to keep things going
even when Christie and I can chime in.

We are thinking about selling our older episodes of the Self-Defense
Show on CD and DVD.

There will be 3 volumes that contain 85 episodes (over 72 hours of
show).

Each volume will have 4 discs. Either 4 CD's or 4 DVD's. Each volume
will contain about 24 hours worth of show.

The CD version will be a DATA CD-R (read: NOT a standard audio music
CD). The CD version will contain the standard 32 kbps quality .MP3
format of the show (as we normally release on the RSS feed). They
will also contain a 160kbps high quality stereo .MP3 format of each
show.

The DVD version will also be a DATA DVD-R (read: NOT a standard video
DVD). The only difference between the CD and DVD versions is that the
DVD version also contains a super high quality uncompressed CD-quality
stereo .WAV file of each show!

If the DVD has everything the CD does + the .WAV files, why would you
want the CD version? Well, if you have a CD player either in your
house, or in your car that plays .MP3 files, you DO NOT want the DVD
version because it won't play in those CD players.

My question to the group is this...

How much is a fair price to charge for both the CD version and the DVD
version?

Self-Defense Show Volume 2 (4xCD's) = $????
Self-Defense Show Volume 3 (4xCD's) = $????

Self-Defense Show Volume 1 (4xDVD's) = $????
Self-Defense Show Volume 2 (4xDVD's) = $????
Self-Defense Show Volume 3 (4xDVD's) = $????

Also, how much would be fair for all 12 CD's and/or all 12 DVD's?

Hi, Charles,
I'm not familiar with the going rates for SD materials. On option
might be to see who else is selling this type of materials and pricing
your products accordingly? Hope that helps,
