Mark:

Thank you for taking the lead on this issue.   You are absolutely right.  There was no advocate for the homeowner caught in the foreclosure trap at the State Bar Convention.   There were State Bar officials telling us how many staff members are waiting to take your license if you screw up on a loan modification.
I have found some good strategies for these foreclosure cases and look forward to your site creating a pool of knowledge as all the big firms we fight have done

to Defend Your Home from Foreclosure
Mark and those I met at the convention:

It was great to meet others in the same position and I am glad to be
part of an expanding network. Sadly, what Mark said is spot on and
that is what I had a judge here in Sacramento County tell me just the
week before the convention. "Although many of your arguments are
likely correct, I can't be the cause of the crash of the economy" is
basically what he said.

Yesterday I saw an amended complaint against BOA and Countrywide that
survived the demurrer stage--I have not yet gotten the chance to read
it, but if you go to saccourt.com you can find it online. The case no.
is: 34-2010-00072777.

I look forward to everyone bringing their stories together to try to
put a chink in the armor of the banks. Somebody has to fight what I
would consider the greatest fraud perpetrated on our country.
