Greetings!

 

 

As per earlier communication made from existing General Body DEFA, there was a meeting conducted today with the proposed new Committee members. The transition will be initiated shortly, while the new Committee members are handed over with role specific activities and responsibilities. The following is the detailed minutes of the meeting (MoM):

Participants:  Mr. Saurav Bhattacharya, Mr. Dibyendu sarkar, Mr. Kaushik Sen Gupta, Mrs. Sumana Brahma, Mr. Dipak Ganguli, Mr. CMA. Tuhin Kanti Munsi, Mr. Mukul Chand, Mr. Dharmendra Kumar, Mr. Parikshit Raha, Mr. Debasish Basu, Mrs. Rinku Ghosh, Mrs. Swati Bhattacharya, Mr. Pulak Das.

 

 

Discussion Synopsis:

·         A detailed introduction on existing team and their involvement was provided by Saurav Bhattacharya, President DEFA 2017 – 2019

·         The highlights of activities undertaken by existing GB was shared

·         Self-nomination for the 11 roles were open to house, however, due to lack of self-nominations, members from both existing and new committee proposed names for the 11 roles duly accepted by the nominee

·         The detail of the new Committee members, for the period of 2019 – 2021, with their roles have been given below:

o   President -> Saurav Bhattacharya (nominated zonal representative from Zone C)

o   Secretary -> Kaushik Sengupta (nominated zonal representative from Zone B)

o   Joint Secretary -> Sumana Brahma (nominated zonal representative from Zone B)

o   Treasurer -> Dipak Ganguly (nominated zonal representative from Zone A)

o   Joint Treasurer -> CMA T. K. Munshi (nominated zonal representative from Zone A)

o   Civil -> Dharmendra Kumar (nominated zonal representative from Zone D)

o   Electric -> Parikshit Raha (nominated zonal representative from Zone E)

o   Security & Housekeeping -> Debasish Basu (nominated zonal representative from Zone C)

o   Gardening & Plumbing -> Rinku Ghosh (nominated zonal representative from Zone D)

o   Community Center & Cultural Conveynor -> Pulak Das (nominated zonal representative from Zone B)

o   Administration -> Swati Bhattacharyay (nominated zonal representative from Zone E)

·         The detailed job descriptions will be shared with all the new GB members and while transitions will continue a formal hand-over meeting is scheduled on 7^th April, 2019 @ 11:30 AM

·         There will be an overlapping transition period during a few weeks in April 2019 for the new committee to fully accept roles/ responsibilities from existing members
