Dear Residents,

Good Morning!

As the summer has approached, the likelihood of water demand is expected to rise substantially. In order to avoid any deficiency of water in our household, we all need to work together towards it. A few of the best practices have been listed below of reference:

1. Instead of letting the water pour down the drain, stick a bucket under the faucet while you wait for your shower water to heat up. This water can be used for flushing the toilet or watering plants.

2. Turn off the tap while brushing teeth

3. Turn off the tap while scrubbing your hand with soap

4. Fix any internal leaks observed at once

5. Reuse the cooking water for plants

6. Choose efficient fixtures if replacement is required

7. Don't run your dish washer/ washing machine until it is full

We are sure that most of us are already practicing what has been mentioned here.

In case of absolute need, DEFA will be using submersible supply of ground water to mitigate the demand.

Look forward to all your cooperation in making this summer more resourceful.

Best Regards,

For and From Madurdaha Deeshari Welfare Society
