Press Report Study

Dear Colleagues,

We kindly invite you to participate in our short study regarding research press reports.

Researchers are often wrongfully depicted by the media, and study results are typically reported in an eye-catching manner (i.e. “hot”, but not accurate headlines), or in a dull way (discouraging any potential interest from the readers). Our goal is to bring research closer to the laypeople by finding ways to make the transfer of knowledge more intelligible.

To achieve this goal, we would be immensely grateful if you could take 5 minutes to read a short press report that will be soon published in an international press, and answer 11 questions. The present questionnaire has been distributed to both experts in the field (i.e. researchers) and lay people from various walks of life.

Participation in the study is fully anonymous. We believe that the results of this study will meaningfully contribute to making research more honest and more appealing for everyone!

Kind regards,
