Dear Madam or Sir,

I am user of the excellent suite of DeepTools in our local Galaxy server and I have a question about 'plotcorrelate'.

I want to compare the signal intensity of 2 replicates around a BED file. I generated normalized RPKM units (BAMcoverage), performed multibigwigsummary and then created a correlation plot (attached).

My question is why there are dots with different color (blue, red, dark blue or white blue etc)?
Please explain the meaning of different colors in the correlation plot.

Yours faithfully,

Hi,

Because the number of dots can be quite large then if there is some overlap of the dots the color intensity changes. I think we should add a color bar.
