Update from Chairman , welfare committee

Dear All, 

Spoke to Chandresh yesterday and he has confirmed that the room reserved in B Block for GYM can already be treated as handed over to the association and we can start using the same. Spoke to Manager and requested  him to arrange for fixing  an alternative lock and key ,after breaking open the existing lock . 

Reg. the dilapidated compound wall near the A block transformer and  also pending work in front of B block north west corner , I have asked the mason who has done the masonry work to come today to give the estimate . Ramesh would support me in finishing this work. We can survey the GYM room and if any plastering work is pending ,we can have that completed with the mason . 

Apart from this , we can check the electrical connections at the GYM room and make the room ready for use . I have suggested to transfer the TT Table from the C block convention hall to the new new GYM room and we have to ensure continuous use of the GYM room

Dear Murali Uncle,

 Once the key is obtained,I can ask the gym guy to come and have a look at the room so that he can suggest whether any flooring/electrical points need to be changed.He can also suggest what all equipment we need to purchase.

Regarding the TT table,won't it be better if we keep it where it is now ?Else,we may need to dismatle it and assemble it all over again.

Dear Vinoo, 

Only Electrical work and plumbing work is pending for completion there. We can have this completed and start using the room.  

Reg. the equipment to be purchased, as per Keerthi's mail, the same has to be deliberated in EC and then in General body meeting for discussion and approval to buy the equipment. What i felt was it would take some more time and we should start using the room as early as possible. Hence i suggested to have the TT table there and  We may need one more TT table since the users are more . 

New lock has been put and you can get the key from the Manager and have a view of the room.
