Hi there

I notice that swiping the board takes me to the about screen. Another
gesture takes me to replay mode, but i'm not quite sure what that
gesture is.

Can you help. Is there any documentation ?

Thanks

Dave

Hi Dave,

Unfortunately, Help didn't make it in the first release. I'll get it
in as soon as possible.

These are the supported gestures:

- Swipe from left to right below the board (where the drawer comes
out) brings you to Playback mode where you can step back and forth in
the current game. This is like going back in Photos and other
scrollable apps, as also Playback mode lets you go back up to the last
position. You can also go to Playback mode from the Game Info view by
tapping the i button in the toolbar, then tapping the Playback button.
Playback mode is only available if there has been made moves in the
game.

- Swipe from right to left below the board brings you to Setup mode
where you can setup an arbitrary (although legal) position. Swiping
this direction is like going forward in the built-in apps, like Setup
is about playing a new game position. Setup mode can also be entered
via the Game Info view.

- If you swipe ON the board, along the vertical edges, dragging
horizontally towards the center, the board flips around, and you'll
see the captured pieces and engine. The captured pieces can also be
seen in the Game Info view.

I hope this helps,
Joachim

Short of setting up a new board, how does one flip the board so that
the black pieces are on the bottom?

Thanks, Michael

Hi Michael,

Bring up Game Info and tap the Swap Sides button. This will rotate the
board. The position of the 2 players in Game Info corresponds to their
position on the board. So the first player is playing at the top, the
player below plays at the bottom. Therefore you'll always want to have
Human/You at the bottom.

I'll be making this more easy to understand in the next release.

Best regards,
Joachim
