I think the use of TaskPaper as an underlying format is an empowering choice, given that it allows users the opportunity to write content for OF outside of OF, and can be moved around as plain text without losing the detailed metadata of dates, tagging, etc. The syntax is parsable by a bunch of apps, too.
Hi I am having a similar scenario, I Found your shortcut very usefull as omethings i need to send my wife a text with items on my shopping list, and selecting them is easy, as omnifocus does not have or at least i have not seen a way to select multiple and easy export the actions items to an email or message.
And its my first time with the Switch/Case action- I see I can choose for the Text to contain words, or a clipboard to contain words. How would i set this up? When im in omnifocus, would i need to copy each item individually to set to run through this macro? Or could it be made automatic so that each item entered would go thru the macro without my interaction?
It would be best if you could record a video, with sound, where you manually go through your entire workflow for one Omni Item. Be sure to go slow, and verbally state what you are doing, especially with any Mouse actions. There are many tools for recording screen video, but you can use the Mac QuickTime Player if you don't have any of the specialty tools.

The omnifocus video camera takes videos, in which objects at different distances are all in focus in a single video display. The omnifocus video camera consists of an array of color video cameras combined with a unique distance mapping camera called the Divcam. The major emphasis of the paper is the proof of concept, but the prototype has been developed enough to demonstrate the superiority of this video camera over a conventional video camera. The resolution of the prototype is high, capturing even fine details such as fingerprints in the image. Just as the movie camera was a significant advance over the still camera, the omnifocus video camera represents a significant advance over all-focus cameras for still images.
