DeepDive and distant supervision

hello , i want to know did the deepdive use distant supervision ?

when i run the deepdive quick start example , i find the training data not use like a small Freebase . the training data just use to rule label .

so anyone can tell me , where dose deepdive use distant supervision .

in addition , i would like to konw if there is an appliction system like Deepdive use the stanford paper on "multi-instance multi-label learning for relational extraction" ?
