Dear DeepaMehta Friends,

at Oct 16, 2010 DeepaMehta 3 v0.4.1 has been released and is available for download:

DeepaMehta 3 v0.4.1 is a stable release for end users.


Main features added since v0.4 (Aug 4, 2010):

- File handling: Representing local files as topics.
View/play file contents (text, image, audio, video, PDF) right inside DeepaMehta.

- "Folder Canvas" plugin (optional install): Representing a local folder as a synchronizable topicmap.

- "Nautilus" plugin (optional install): Put a folder under DeepaMehta control right from the GNOME desktop.

Further changes:
- GUI: canvas size is adjustable by the means of a split pane.
- Various bug fixes, e.g. menus are closed when clicked elsewhere.

Updating:

DeepaMehta 3 v0.4.1 is the first end user release that can update a previous DeepaMehta v0.4 installation and keep all your data. You'll find update instructions also on the page above.
IMPORTANT: You can only update a DeepaMehta end user installation. Updating a snapshot release is not supported.
