Subject: Volunteer Invitation- Financial Education Week 2016

Dear Volunteer,

Greetings from Association of International Wealth Management of India (AIWMI) !

We are pleased to inform you that AIWMI & NISM are jointly organizing the 2nd annual Financial Education Week 2016 across India in January.
About the Initiative:

Financial Education Week is an independent, not-for-profit national initiative, jointly set up by Association of International Wealth Management of India (AIWMI) & National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) to promote the importance of financial literacy. The core idea behind the Financial Education Week is to educate Indians on how they can take simple steps to improve their finances and create wealth.

AIWMI & NISM propose to organize Financial Education Week annually as part of their efforts to reaffirm and reemphasize the role of financial education in developing the country’s economic and social structure.

Volunteer Invitation:

For education to truly serve its purpose we need to establish partnerships among all stakeholders including those preparing the policies to those working at the grassroots level.  The idea tells us that the entire financial services community and not just certain companies must actively participate in enhancing financial literacy levels, for good of investors and a greater good of the society.

The Financial Education Week 2016 will be held in response to the thrust of the honourable Union Government of India to strengthen cooperation among stakeholders in financial services to support the necessary and significant changes to achieve financial equality and education.

Deliverables of Volunteer Partner:
• To organize and deliver atleast one financial literacy session in his respective city on the basis of the format provided by AIWMI & NISM.
Deliverables of AIWMI-NISM:
• To provide the format and content for the session
• To publish the Volunteer and Session details on the Financial Education Week website
• To promote the Financial Education Week pan-India through print and online media
• To engage various stake holders of Indian Financial Services including the Government, Regulators, Media and Financial Institutions in the Financial Education Week activities.
