Hi,

A very important clarification on tax liability of joint holder in a joint property.  Kindly go through. 

Further,  I would like to go a step ahead and quote: Many people get the rental credited to the account of joint holder who has not contributed to the property acquisition.  while the rental income must be added to primary holders income in such case and tax taken care of.
