Problem with source code from book

Dear authors,

Cold You, please, help me how to run examples correctly? I read book and downloaded examples from given link, i try to run first example in book (MNIST dataset) 

try to run file mnist_digit_pixel_by_pixel.ipynb

but i get errors:

 - how to fix an error: 
ModuleNotFoundError                       Traceback (most recent call last)
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'numpy.core._multiarray_umath'
ImportError                               Traceback (most recent call last)
ImportError: numpy.core.multiarray failed to import

The above exception was the direct cause of the following exception:

SystemError                               Traceback (most recent call last)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\Shared\Anaconda3_64\lib\importlib\_bootstrap.py in _find_and_load(name, import_)

SystemError: <class '_frozen_importlib._ModuleLockManager'> returned a result with an error set

plus, after these errors i get error  "Kernel dead"

Hi Natalia! Thanks for your message. 

From the errors thrown by your Jupyter Notebook, this doesn't appear to be an issue with our code. 

Rather, it appears to be an issue with your particular installation. Did you follow the instructions here to ensure that you have all of the software dependencies? 

Since it appears you're on a Windows machine, the easiest option for you might be to run through all of the examples in the cloud via Google Colab, which should automatically include all of the software dependencies you need.

Hi Marco! It might have been better to ask this question in a new thread, however I'll reply here for simplicity: No, there is no Slack group for Deep Learning Illustrated. We decided that public discussion in this Google Groups forum was more globally helpful than private discussion related to the book within a Slack group.
