Down Home Buttermilk Pie

Yield: 1 pie

1 ea 9" pie crust
1/2 c Butter @ room temp
2 c Sugar
3 tb All-purpose flour
3 ea Eggs beaten
1 c Buttermilk
1 ts Vanilla extract
Nutmeg for sprinkling on top

Pre-heat oven to 350 deg-F.
Place piecrust in pie pan
Cream butter & sugar together
Add flour & eggs then mix well until smooth.
Stir in buttermilk and vanilla
Pour into pie crust then sprinkle with nutmeg
Bake for 1 hr. until done.
Allow time to set and to cool before serving.
