New to the neighborhood

Hey all,
My name is Chris. I'm a principal in a business that has recently
moved into Deep Ellum - VIRTBIZ Internet Services. We're over at the
corner of Canton & Crowdus.

We bought the building last July and have been working to get things
tidy'd up, so to speak, since then. A lot of people ask "is the
neighborhood scary" or "what about the crime". Maybe we've just been
real lucky so far, but it's no more frightening around here than it is
living in the 'burbs or at our facilities in the CBD. Our video
cameras get kind of bored sometimes.

I guess we are a little different in that we are not a "traditional"
Deep Ellum kind of resident. But I've always liked the vibe of the
neighborhood.

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to the list.

Also, curious for any suggestions for the best eats. Our crew can be
found at Angry Dog, Petes, Omegas, Bakers, Sols with pretty good
regularity. Also have enjoyed All Good and Cafe Brazil.
