If you're using Deelang on Android, you'll probably want to use the Dex compiler. You can find a wiki page about getting started with it at:

If you're on another platform, you'll be using the Dee VM. Compiling code to the custom bytecode format used by that VM is also done with the standard compiler, using a different compiler backend. You can see an example of this in the functional tests on GitHub:
