Hi Sam,

Do you know why these fuse.hidden files keep popping up after a restart ?
Could it be an improper unmount of the file system?

Cheers,

Tom

I believe those hidden files are created when a file is deleted before it is closed. The file will then be deleted when it is closed. If the filesystem is improperly unmounted before the file is closed those .fuse_hidden files could still be around.

Take a look here for more detail

It must be something to do with the way I put files on the sdfs store.
Like I run a script on a windows server to copy the vhd's over to the sdfs store via samba.
Not sure if I need to do some special setting in samba.
It normally only pops in when I reboot which isn't happening much but I'll keep an eye on it.
What I do know is that when delete the fuse file it corrupts the vhds that are on the sdfs.
