I get the following error:
Error in .jcall("org/rosuda/deducer/
Deducer", , "runCmd", "Open Data Set", : java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/rosuda/util/Platform
This is the second windows 10 computer where I have received this error.
Is there a fix?

This sounds like a problem with rJava, a dependency of Deducer. The rJava version must match your R version and Deducer version and also be compatible with the oracle java version installed.
For instance, oracle java jdk 11, R 3.5.3 , rJava 0.9-11 and Deducer 0.7-9 is a good match.

I was able to resolve this error by luck through loading the JGR package and running the command line "JGR()". I then went to package manager and set both loaded and default for the Deducer package. I no longer receive the error message when I run the command line "JGR()" within Deducer or in the JGR package.
