Hi there

I am a newbie to R and to Deducer, but what a great product so far as
I am useless with getting R to do anything useful as a non coder.

The one issue I had when uploading my data is transforming prices to a
%, although I could trandform it to (log+1) I am more interested in
the log difference, is there a way to do this in Deducer or must I do
it via R code.

Mike,

I have not figured out any GUI way to make variable computations
simpler than just entering the code into the console. Do something
like:

data$newVar <- log(data$var1 - data$var$2)

Not a Deducer solution.. Rcmdr has a Data > Manage vars > Compute new
var item. You could try this.
