Deducer and R 4.0

On newer Macs, Deducer does not seem to work with the latest CRAN release of R 4.0 due to a java issue, JGR 1.8-7 incompatibility with Oracle JDK"s higher than 8.

The problem is fixed by downloading the latest version of JGR 1.9-1 from GitHub.

Many thanks to the developer Markus Helbig for making this update available.

Deducer is then just running ok.

A working combination is

macOs 10.15.4 (Catalina), Xcode 11.4.1, Oracle Java JDK 11.0.2, R 4.0, rJava 0.9-12, JavaGD 0.6-1.1, JGR 1.9-1, Deducer 0.7-9.

I can not get contour plots to work in Deducer.
Using latest R 4.0

No error message simply does not plot only shows an X-Y box

Any help appreciated.

Perhaps try Deducer density2d plot. This is frequently a better alternative.
