Open data in Deducer

I have downloaded Deducer in R 2.11.1 on a computer with Windows XP
and on a computer Windows Vista.
However I cannot open data with Deducer in the computer with Windows
Vista. When I try "Open data" from the menu, it took me to where the
txt data is but I cannot open it.
Any hint why is that?

So I'm gathering from your message that you are able to navigate to a file ending in '.txt' with the open data dialog, but nothing happens after you select it. Is that correct?

After opening a .txt file you should see another dialog titles 'Read Delimited File'. Are you using the JGR console, or the RGui console? Please enter the following into R after Deducer is loaded and send the output:
