GATE score validity for M.Tech admissions is for the following three years. However, for PSU job aspirants, the GATE scores are valid for only a year. Hence, if candidates have qualified in the GATE 2024 exams, they are eligible for M.Tech admissions for the next three years after releasing the GATE results, but the scores to land a PSU job will be valid for only a year.
Most candidates believe that since the exams are conducted every year, the scores are valid for only one year. However, that is not the truth. From June 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023, the GATE 2023 Scorecard can be downloaded from the GATE Application portal by paying a fee of INR 500/-. From January 1, 2024, the GATE 2023 Scorecard will not be available.
GATE result 2021: With the release of GATE 2021 result, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay today published the scorecard consisting individual scores. Candidates can download their scorecard from the official website gate.iitb.ac.in.
The qualified candidates can only access the GATE scorecard which is valid for upto three years from the date of issuance. The result was earlier released on March 19. A total of 38 students topped the GATE exam this year, the cut-off marks varied between 26-36. The engineering entrance was held between February 6 to 14.
The GATE 2023 Results will be released online. Candidates who have appeared for the GATE 2023 exams have already been provided with the GATE 2023 response sheet and question papers and are now awaiting the announcement of the GATE 2023 Answer Key. After the GATE 2023 Result is announced, candidates who have appeared for the exams will be able to download the result through the link which will be given on the official website.
