"why would you want to disable them" is obviously not the answer this guy is looking for, why would you want to do anything in this game? obviously there is a bug and the last resort to fixing it is to delete the content. I have a permanent debuf because the crusader armor quest bugged in the middle of doing it, locking me, I can either lose 2 days worth of gameplay or just turn off the creation club content which is apparently impossible, what were they thinking honestly? it's skyrim, it's imopssible not to have bugs, let us delete stuff that gets us softlocked jfc
I think if you disable all mods, then it'll disable the CC, too. I have a bunch of mods and CC on Xbox1, and some of them aren't compatible with my mods. I had been wondering how to uninstall them, but it seems I have to disable them. Ugh. It's a pain in the butt.
Necroposting, ik but since this is like one of the first results on google for this, might as well share. This can only be easily done by PC users so out of luck if you play on console and haven't hacked it. Find all the creation club data in your data folder (they should all start with "cc" and have bsa, esm and esl as file extension) and move/delete them then move/delete the "Creations" folder, this has the manifests for the creation club stuff. Start the game and boom, no creation club stuff loaded. Move those data files and Creations folder back in if you ever want to use it again. Game will make a Creations folder if it doesn't see one but it will be empty so dw about it
The previous answer did not accurately answer the question asked. Creation Club addons do not disable achievements, as they are official Bethesda-endorsed mods that are considered to be more of a DLC, since you have to buy them. If you use actual mods, however, it will disable achievements.
4) Dividing at best, destroying at worst, the community. Much like (1), the community will be divided, or destroyed, because one group of mod authors will go the paid route, and others will maintain their integrity and go the free mods route. Both factions will harbor resentment toward one another, and we once again have a failure to freely exchange ideas and creations for the betterment of the community. This is observable upon review of the fragmentation and bitterness that took place when you attempted to implement paid mods in 2015.
You could of course just download a selection of the best Skyrim Special Edition mods to achieve a similar effect, and not have to worry about how the only way to disable Creation Club stuff you don't like is to manually delete the .esl and .bsa files yourself.
If you have a lot of mods installed or want a more automated way to disable all mods, using a mod manager like Nexus Mod Manager or Mod Organizer might be the best option. Once you have downloaded and installed the program, simply start it up, select all the mods you have installed, and disable them.If you want more detailed instructions for setting up Nexus Mod Manager or Mod Organizer, there are plenty of tutorials available online.Once you have disabled all your mods in either method, you can be sure that none of them will be active in your game.Does Creation Club content work with mods?Generally speaking, Creation Club content does not work with mods. This is because Creation Club content is usually integrated directly into the game engine and is not compatible with content created via modding tools.
No, mods do not disable achievements in Skyrim for PlayStation 4. Skyrim is designed to allow gamers to enjoy a variety of mods without impacting their achievements. Sony has a policy for mods that prevent the unlocking of achievements, but this does not affect Skyrim. If a mod does not directly impact an achievement, it will not affect it. So, if a mod changes the game drastically, such as overhauling the entire quest system or character customization, it should not have an effect on any existing achievements.
I download Skyrim Special Edition's Survival Mode. It's several weeks old in Bethesda's Creation Club store now, but I wasn't interested at first. Certain mods had cobbled together a survival mode of sorts before. Mods, however, disable achievements, and anyone that's messed with mods before (I'm new to the mod game) knows that one mod isn't always compatible with another mod. Complications can arise in a game that already lives with more than its fair share of bugs.
