question about spinach pie!

HI Dede!!! You are great! You have showed me how to make middle-
eastern food that I otherwise wouldn't have known to make. Thank you!
I like watching your videos!! Please put more videos up, especially
sweets and more food! I was wanting to know: Can I use canned spinach
in this recipe for spinach pie? Do you have to cook the onions and
spinach before putting them into pies?

Hi Hanan,

I have never used canned spinach, so I'm not sure how it would turn
out, I do recommend using fresh spinach though, it has a different
texture. No you do not have to cook the spinach and onions prior to
stuffing the pies, but make sure you don't skip the first part, you
MUST extract the water from the spinach.
