Help regarding installation

Hello Dedalus community,
I am new to Dedalus and learning it from the examples. I had a problem while installing it on my personal Mac. Can you guys help to get rid of the problem? I have attached a screenshot for your recommendation.

Hello,

The error seems to be stemming from the new version of openmpi. I’m not sure of a real fix, but it seems if you execute serial scripts still using the MPI command (e.g. mpiexec -n 1 python3 dedalus_script.py, the error goes away. I’m not sure of a solution for interactive sessions / notebooks, though.
