Hi,

I am looking to solve a linear EVP on S2 with NCCs which may vary both as a function of theta and phi. However, it seems like this may not be implemented.

Is there some kind of kludgy workaround? It seems from browsing other answers that some general functions of theta and phi can be accommodated when appearing certain other kinds of problems, but not sure if it's possible for EVP coefficients. Alternatively, is this a feature which will be implemented soon?

I am also currently considering making it a BVP and adding an equation Del(lambda) = 0 or something, but not sure if this is the smartest idea.

Best,
Nicholas

Hi Nicholas,

Unfortunately this is not implemented yet and I don’t know of any real workarounds. It is something we want to add, but I don’t have a timeline at the moment. Likely end of the summer or fall.

Best,
-Keaton
