ValueError

Dear Dedalus users,

I have a dedalus v2 code for solving the equations and set up summarised in the attached python file and pdf. 

I am encountering errors of the type: ValueError: Pencil has 8 constant equations for 0 constant variables plus 4 differential equations / tau terms.

Could someone please explain this and suggest how to fix this? 

I would like to understand this methodology better. Any advice is appreciated.
