Dear all,

Today I had to strip a changeset out of the main Dedalus repository (https://bitbucket.org/dedalus-project/dedalus2), because a temporary branch had been created and closed. Because branches persist for all time in mercurial, we have a development policy that excludes using them.

What this means is that if you have cloned the repository or pulled from in the last five days, you should either reclone, or strip out the erroneous changesets via:

$ hg strip -r e90f7a463e20

If you need help doing the latter, please don't hesitate to email me off list.

Unfortunately, I failed to notice the temporary branch until after we accepted the Pull Request. I apologies for the inconvenience. In the future, we'll be a bit more careful. We really appreciate all the pull requests that we receive, and we are looking forward to even more community development going forwards. I hope to work better with everyone to ensure that the process is smooth.

thanks,

Jeff Oishi
