Dear Paul,

Hey, Paul, i'm wondering if the submission on 3rd of April actually
accquire BIM Experience Guide logbook?
if so, do we need to complete the BIM Expeirence Guide?

Thanks!

Some, in the class still appear to be uncertain about what to submit
on Friday. The requirement is as expressed in the e-mail posted to the
class on 18 March. I have pasted part of the relevant item below:

Completing Tutorial 1____________________________
- Note that the submission is due at the end of Week 5.
- You only need to submit the completed Review. It is not necessary to
submit the ArchiCAD files
- If you chose Tutorial 1A (most students should) - you will need to
complete:
- ArchiCAD Basics tutorial
- BIM Experience Guide
- The Basics Review

- Note that the Basics Review DOC file includes both the Basics and
BIM tutorials.
- For more information re-read the ArchiCAD Essentials Web page.

I hope that helps.

I have received, from a student, the following e-mail which asks a
reasonable question:

" Hi Paul,

Can I submit my assignment on the faculty dropbox?
Because last year, I think I was allowed to submit AutoCAD assignments
on the dropbox.

If I can't then is it possible to submit tomorrow or do you want to
get it by email tonight?

Thanks."

My answer is that I don't mind if students submit work electronically
to \\dropbox as long as there are no big files. For this submission I
would expect most reviews to be in the range of 2MB to 20MB.

If they are much more that that, submit the work on a CD, or check and
correct the image compression.

You can do that by right clicking on an image and selecting Format
Picture. Click the Compress button, then select All Pictures in
Document. Then make sure you save the file as DOC or PDF, but not
RTF. RTF doesn't do compression.

Submissions should be in by midnight tonight, but a few hours over
that time are not critical.
