fully funded postdoctoral position in
Economics, with the emphasis on
social preferences, especially inequality
and fairness preferences, subjective beliefs and attitudes, and
real-world
decision making.
Successful applicants will work with the Decision Science group and the Sustainability & Organisations Institute at HEC Paris, as well as the iRisk group at IESEG Lille. The position will be for 1.5 to 3 years, and be based at the HEC campus near Paris.

The position is part of a research project WIASSS (What’s Behind
Inequality Attitudes: Stakeholders, Spectators, Subscribers) financed by the
French National Research Agency (ANR)
involving the HEC Paris-CNRS lab GREGHEC and the iRisk research group (CNRS, IÉSEG
School of Management, Lille Économie Management). It will involve advanced
research in behavioral decision-making concerning pro-social attitudes and in
particular attitudes to fairness and inequality. The researcher will contribute
to the development of new theoretical approaches to model and investigate
inequality attitudes in a variety of contexts, and the design, implementation,
and scientific dissemination of behavioral choice-based experimental and RCT
studies.
