Dear Members of the Decision Theory Forum,
I would like to draw your attention to a Summer School on “Bayesian Methods for Experimental Economics” that we are organizing with Nicolas Jacquemet (PSE, Paris) and Emmanuel Kemel (HEC
Paris).
Please find below the call for applications:
The summer school “Bayesian Methods for Experimental Economics” will be held at University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P), Rabat (Morocco), on
June 18–21, 2026, immediately following ESA Africa (June 15–17) at the same venue.
Applications for the two events are open! (deadline Feb 20)
The four-day summer school focuses on Bayesian methods in experimental economics—decision models, heterogeneity, structural estimation, RCT analysis, and meta-analysis.
Hosted on UM6P’s lovely campus with great amenities (pool, courts, gym): a perfect setting to learn and connect.
Confirmed teachers include:
Thomas Epper, CNRS, on structural estimations
Taisuke Imai, University of Osaka, on meta analyses
Fabio Maccheroni, University of Bocconi, on decision science
Rafe Meager, University of New South Wales, on Bayesian RCT
The summer school is sponsored by ESA and organized in partnership with the Paris School of Economics, and discounted fees apply for students participating in both the UM6P and PSE summer
schools.
If you think these summer schools could be relevant to students or colleagues in your network, please feel free to share this announcement.
We will be delighted to welcome you on the beautiful campus of UM6P Rabat in June!
Best regards,
Mohammed Abdellaoui
(on behalf of the organizing team, M. Abdellaoui, N. Jacquemet and E. Kemel)
