Dear colleagues and friends,

The call for abstracts of ESA Africa 2026, Rabat, June 15-17, is now open.

The 2026 Economic Science Association (ESA) Africa Conference will take place at the Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences (AIRESS), Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), in Rabat, Morocco, from the late afternoon of June 15 to the evening of June 17, 2026.

We are delighted to announce that the keynote lectures will be delivered by Abigail Barr and Alexander Cappelen.

We invite presentations of research papers or experimental designs related to experiments in economics, behavioral economics, and policy evaluation. Research projects led by scholars from African institutions and/or focusing on topics of relevance to Africa are warmly encouraged.

Also, ESA Africa 2026 will be followed by a Summer School on Bayesian Methods for Experimental Economics, taking place at UM6P Rabat from June 18 to 21, 2026.
