Georgia Bill Introduced to Limit Community Networks

Last year, we launched this Decide Locally Google Group to ensure we can share threats to the authority of communities to decide for themselves whether community owned broadband networks are a wise decision.

We are sad to say that we have just learned of a bill in Georgia that will be in committee on Wednesday, 2/13, that will revoke local authority. The bill is written in an innocuous manner but is more disruptive than its promoters will acknowledge.
