The report of the 2008 MESO international Symposium is available!

 

We are pleased to announce that the report of the MESO international Symposium held in Damascus in June 2008 is now published and may be downloaded on www.meso-platform.org.

 

The report records the main presentations and discussions that took place. Principal outcomes are highlighted. Finally, the evaluation results of the Symposium are also presented.

 

The MESO Symposium had three main objectives. First, bringing together decision makers, industrials leaders and key academia involved in the MESO programme in order to disseminate and exchange their experiences. Second, providing an overview of the results of the MESO studies elaborated in the MENA region. Finally, facilitating further partnerships and exploring future needs from beneficiary countries.

Ce compte-rendu expose les présentations et les débats qui ont animés les journées du 17 au 19 juin 2008 à Damas. Il met également en évidence les principales conclusions. Finalement, il rend compte des résultats de l’évaluation du Symposium par les participants.

 

Le Symposium MESO poursuivait trois objectifs. Premièrement, il cherchait à réunir les membres du programme MESO qu’ils soient décideurs, leaders économiques ou universitaires afin de mettre en commun leurs expériences. Deuxièmement, le Symposium constituait une opportunité de présenter et comparer les résultats des analyses MESO réalisées dans la région MENA et finalement, il a permis d’identifier les besoins futurs des pays bénéficiaires dans le domaine de l’analyse économique de l’environnement.
