Scribd is a great service that lets authors share their documents with people. It has security measures that help protect against plagiarism and piracy, and will allow subscribed members to be able to print a document in its entirety. To print Scribd documents, you must have a Scribd account. Once you have an account, proceed to step 1.
*Quick note: Everand recently went through a re-branding. They split their company into two apps: Scribd, for documents, and Everand, for books, sheet music, and podcasts. All the information in this post is up to date after the rebrand!
In a relatively new feature (at the time of writing this), Everand has put an entire Sheet Music section on their site and app. The Everand sheet music library boasts over 70,000 pieces of sheet music, all accessible when you have a subscription.
As a private music teacher and musician, I always liked hard copies of my music. Of course, that was before digital copies of music was really a thing. My instructor in college had an office with wall to wall, floor to ceiling bookshelves stuffed to the brim with repertoire books, and I always thought that my office would be the same.
Now, we all know that nothing is perfect, and Everand, especially as a sheet music subscription, is no exception. In my case, the pros far outweigh the cons, but I would be doing you all a disservice by not discussing them; some of the functionality of Everand can greatly impact the way you approach your lesson music! This way, you will be able to make a fully formed decision when choosing your sheet music subscription!
If you are a die-hard printed music fan (which I totally get), Everand might not be for you. Everand is a sheet music subscription in the sense that Netflix is a TV subscription; you gain access to their entire library as long as your sheet music subscription is active. When you stop your subscription, your access ends.
Some of the music you can download and print (the sheet music found in the documents section in the Scribd app are saved as PDF files) or download and annotate, but the vast majority of the quality music is accessible in-app only.

In this article we will be seeing how to download PDF documents from Scribd without having an account, paying or uploading documents. Biblio has mentioned that the updated user agent fix has stopped working. Here is a new fix. Just an additional step to the latest fix. This time you need to change form method attribute to get rid of the error message.

I think you are barking up the wrong tree by attempting to attack Mr. Sundaram for writing an article on how to obtain a lot of the FREELY LICENSED content on Scribd. Mr. Sundaram has already pointed out that authors of content on Scribd have the option to enable or disable downloads of their documents, and one would assume that if a particular author wished to disallow users from copying or downloading their works, they would have simply disabled the ability of users to download said works. From what i have read so far, it does not appear that Mr. Sundaram is offering up any code to bypass the wishes of any of the actual AUTHORS of the content on Scribd when a user makes it clear to him that what they wanted to download is unavailable by its author(s).
So to summarize, what Mr. Sundaram appears to be doing here is advocating freedom of information for free information, which to my knowledge, is legal. What Scribd is doing on the other hand, is *questionable* at best and should be investigated.
just save my day. i bought a multi purpose copier and in my area we have no qualified technicians so i had to download its manual from scibd. i usually dont want to steal but i dont see any problem in downloading a service manual for a machine that i bought. i think all companies making electronics should be giving these things freee. thanks for the methods, they really helped.
I have selected that the scribd.com webpage to be displayed always with the user agent motorola xoom. So, when i browse the website, and select a document, i have only to inspect the element and see if i have to change the post with get metod, to download the documents. Nothing alse, with the chrome browser.
Second problem: If I first set the user agent to Iphone 3.0 I am able to view the mobile site. But if perform a search using the unique document ID and click on the result, the screen goes blank. I can not progress any further.
This really works, for those who still cant download, please change the user agent to another mobile browser agent instead of Iphone 3.0,

For people having trouble with switching user to android
1. you need google chrome
2.go to
and add the extention
3. Follow steps as said by Shunmugha Sundaram
a. First change the user agent string to Android then go to mobile site and search for the doc using the unique ID or directly go to the concerned document.
b. Now directly hit the download button. and boom there you go
