In the month of November IFT will conduct a revision course to help you prepare for the December 2013 Level I exam.   The cost of this course is only $110.  (Customers who signed up for our Premium Package are automatically enrolled in the revision course).

Here is how this will work:

  • Send in your Economics questions by 1-November to sup...@irfanullah.co.  By end of day on 4-November the IFT team will release a video (or videos) based on your questions, examples and practice questions from the curriculum.  These videos will be shared with all those who sign up for the revision course. The same process will be followed for the other topics per the schedule outlined in the table above.
  • In terms of review and practice, here is what we suggest.
  • The curriculum is the best source for practice questions.  Do the MCQ-type practice questions in the curriculum at least 3 times.  For Quant and FIS some of the practice questions are long-winded.  Do these if you have time. If you don’t have time simply read the solutions.  In doing so make sure you get the main concept. If you don’t get it, ask us.
  • Do all the short examples in the curriculum readings.  Some of the examples are quite long. If you have time do them. Otherwise, read the solution and try to get the main point. If you don’t get it, ask us.
  • Do questions from CFA Institute mock exams.
  • Do the CFA Institute sample exams. (these need to be purchased)
  • Do the IFT quizzes.
  • Do practice questions and exams from other prep providers like Schweser.
  • In the final 2-3 weeks before the exam try to do as many full-length exams as possible.

The key to success, as I keep saying, is lots of practice.  So do just that. If you don’t understand something ask us. Pass the exam.

Regards,

Arif Irfanullah
