Decatur Makers has an exciting August line up to share with you including: intergenerational workshops, recurring free youth clubs, youth only workshops, adult only workshops, interest meetups and more.  We add activities frequently, so check out Decatur Makers' Events Calendar for the most up to date listings and to links to all event details and registration!

August Events

10th- Textile Arts Meetup, 10-11am, Open to All

10th- 3D Printers Meetup, 11am-12pm, Open to All

10th- Solar Powered Fairy Lights, 1-3pm, Intergenerational Workshop, minimum age: 8, $25

11th- Girls Makers Club, 1-3pm, Age: Middle School

12th- Basics of Plasma Cutting, 6-8pm, Adult Workshop, minimum age: 18, $40

14th- Open Build Night, 7-9pm, Open to All

15th- Board Game Night, 7-9pm, Adults & Teens

17th- Pen Turning on the Wood Lathe with Marcus: 8am-12pm, Adults & Teens, minimum age 13, $65 *Full, see Sept 7 for next class!

20th- Youth Build Club, 5-7pm, Age: Middle School 

21st- Open Build Night, 7-9pm, Open to All

22nd- Design Lab: Catapults & Trebuchets, 5-6:30pm, Age: Middle and High School, $25

22nd- Guitar Makers Meetup, 7-8pm, Adults & Teens

23rd- High School Cosplay Club, 5-7pm, Age: High School

24th- Beginner Bead Earring Workshop, 10am-12pm, Intergenerational Class, minimum age 8, $25

28th- Family Build Night, 5-6:30pm, Intergenerational Event, Activity Target Age: 6-9

28th- Open Build Night, 7-9pm, Open to All
