Camera Mounting Hardware

Hi every body .


Good Day.


I thought we need to build an exclusive camera mounting for the project, and I am challenged to address that to myself.

Since some of you are looking for the hardware on e-bay ,store , its better (I thought) if we had an exclusive design for decapod.

Now, let me tell something about the total cost for the said hardware, if in case some of you are interested to buy (for the cost of production)
the said camera mounting.



By the way I had already resolved a 3D dewarping  of an images, and used it in my book scanning.
Leptonica and scantailor  in CLI script brought me the solutions.

I've done also an immediate OCR'ing of an image/s right after the book page is captured.

Hi E3,

From the onset, Decapod intended to use commercially available products as part of its assembled solution. This way users can built and customize their configuration based on budget, space, and resources.

A custom solution is already really great for those who want a more designed application. Our own exploration into custom mounting hardware was only for the stereo mounting bar for the two cameras since commercial stereo bars can be hard to purchase.

Do you have a design in mind E3?

Good Day.


Actually, I have a design in mind for that mounting, and yet I am still soliciting your ideas about it.

Since I have a cameras here, designing the camera mounting seems not that tasky.

But as much as possible we can have a decapod mounting standard design in general
 
I can create a sample as soon as I get everybody's idea , or will try it on my own...
