Hi,

I was wondering where I can find the complete dataset of all the gravitational lenses that the Legacy Survey found, as image FITS files.
Also, is there a centralized place where I can find all gravitational lenses found, from all surveys everywhere? I have access to the Master Lens Database but many of the lenses don't have images to go along. How should I find the images if I have those coordinates of the lenses?

Thank you!
Gauri

Hi,

You could write to Xiaosheng Huang directly -- he is the first author of the two papers reporting the newly-discovered lenses.

The catalogs are available in Vizier,

Once you have the RA,Dec coordinates of the samples, you can request FITS (or JPEG) cutouts using the Legacy Surveys sky viewer --
by constructing URLs like this,
plugging in your RA,Dec of interest.  Pixscale is the arcsecond per pixel (0.262 = the native DECam pixel scale).

cheers,
dustin

There's also Xioasheng's "neuralens" webpage that includes embedded Google Sheets with the candidates from each of his group's strong lens search papers:

This information has been super helpful to my project, thank you!

I've been looking for Xiaosheng Huang's Github or code for the neural network model used in his gravitational lens finding papers, but I can't seem to find it.
I know he built off of the CMU Deeplens code, but when I run that, it gives many errors because it is a couple years old.
I was wondering if his code was released anywhere?

Thanks!
