Using CloudWatch with "basic monitoring"

I am trying to use the CloudWatch widget with the free "basic
monitoring". It does not seem to work, why? The region should be
correct, and I was able to use the detailed monitoring earlier as a
paid customer, so the passwords should be correct too.

Hi Toni,

Others have this problem too, so this is most definitely a bug in Decaf. We are currently finishing our book on AWS for O'Reilly. After that we'll have more time to work on this and other issues.
