Depending on the design of your ideal photo booth template, will depend on what software to use. If you are looking for something basic, on Windows, we recommend using your free program, Paint. For something more advanced, and for Apple Mac users, we strongly encourage you to use adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator.
We recommend marking out your background by copying and pasting a full screen photo you have taken on your photo booth, and shrinking it the size you will want on your new template. Remember to hold the shift button (the upwards arrow) to ensure the proportion of the image stays the same.

Hey guys,
First time here and hoping I can get some help for this. I am trying to edit a PSD template for a photo booth print overlay and can't seem to figure out how to adjust the transparent rectangles where the photos would go. I am trying to move the middle rectangle higher and the left and right rectangles lower so I have more space to fit the logo in the bottom middle (attaching a screenshot). Is there a tutorial somewhere for this or can someone give me a few pointers? I've just started using the software recently and a total beginner with this. Thank you very much in advance.
Did everything you mentioned and ended up with the screenshot attached. I actually don't need to place any images as its a template for a photo booth event that I had last night. So the photos that are being taken by the photo booth are to be overlayed to the transparent rectangles during the event (attaching another image).
So once I activate the mask again I am still not able to move those transparent rectangles where I need them to be.
PLEASE NOTE: If you choose a template with more than one image on the frame, then you must also choose another template with just one photo on the frame. One frame is needed for the GIF images and Boomerangs.
