Please join Alastair Cook, Charlotte Edwards and Boris Johnson at Harrow Town CC in Middlesex – the ECB’s showcase club for NatWest CricketForce – on Friday 5 April 2013, 1030–1200.

 

What? Entering its 12^th year, NatWest CricketForce (NWCF) is an ECB initiative aimed at rejuvenating cricket clubs and getting facilities ready for action before the new season begins.

Tens of thousands of volunteers will take part across England & Wales at approx. 2,000 local cricket clubs over the weekend of 5-7 April.

Harrow Town CC has been selected as this year’s NWCF showcase  club and they will be gathering an army of volunteers from the club, local community and NatWest staff, to help renovate and refurbish the pavilion and grounds.

Who?

·         England captains Alastair Cook and Charlotte Edwards will attend the event and take part in a press conference & broadcast media huddle

·         ECB Chief Executive David Collier, ECB Managing Director of Cricket Partnerships Mike Gatting, and Mayor of London Boris Johnson will also attend the event.

 

When? Friday 5 April 2013. Timings:

·         1000 Photo-call

·         1030 Event welcome from Club Chairman and short speeches from distinguished guests

·         1100 Press conference with Alastair Cook & Charlotte Edwards

·         1130 Broadcast media huddle
