Starting next week, I'll be putting together a DEC newsletter called 'Monday Pinch Hit'. The idea being that it will be a sort of digest of the last week of the site with a few extra bits and pieces thrown in as well.

Ryan is going to get a tab set up on the site's homepage so people can sign up and I'll make sure all of your emails are added to the distribution list as well. 

Essentially what I need from you is a bit of help with some of the content. One of the features I was planning was a few small insights from around the grounds. As we improve our coverage and get more and more reporters into grounds we will end up picking up things that aren't necessarily enough to put together a column from but are interesting anyway. For example if you're at the ground and a bowler is coming off a shorter run up or has an extra yard of pace it might have been mentioned on the live blog but would be good to reiterate in the newsletter. Almost like some mini scouting notes or bits of gossip we might have picked up between us.

If you have anything like that to contribute just fire it over to me as and when, my email is on the contact list or I'm jtarring on Skype. Once you get the first edition through you should have an idea of the sort of thing I've got in mind and obviously if there's any content ideas or suggestions just let me know.

There will be all the usual promotion of this via Twitter etc so any help with boosting our subscriber list is much appreciated.
