Hi All,

I've put myself down for the Middx press day so obviously if I go I'll need a dictaphone.

Do those that have done this type of thing before have any tips before I go and buy myself a rubbishy one? Should the type that are available for £20-£30 on Amazon be good enough?

I was planning on using an app on my phone.

Hi Jack,

That's great you can attend the Middlesex press day! Unfortunately Rochelle Sampy had to pull out due to work.

I will email you in the morning about it.

Hi Jack,

Before I got my dictaphone I used to use the voice recorder on my iPhone. This worked fine in terms of quality. If your phone doesn't have recording capabilities then the cheap dictaphones should work fine in terms of recording quality, though if you want to do other things like put in on a computer you might have to pay slightly more.

Hope that helps,

Tom
