What up all,
just wanted to pass along the news - the city council passed a ban on travel to Arizona if SB-1070 goes into effect. This is a significant victory and I think we should claim it as such. Folks like Tevin, Sam, and Elisa were instrumental in passing this law, showing up strong at both the meeting last night AND the one a couple weeks ago. Without our efforts, the city council wouldn't even be considering this legislation. We should be hella proud of ourselves. We go stupid hard.
