Hi Ladies, I hope the summer is treating y'all well! Lauren, I hope you're making a nice transition into the southern way of living! So...I've been volunteering with Planned Parenthood of central NC (Durham and Chapel Hill Chapters) to help with the planning of there annual Suffrage event! We'll be celebrating 90 years of women's right to vote and we're doing this really awesome dance party at the Wine Bar in Durham on August 28th, 2010 from 9pm - until. The event will feature all female turntablists, spoken word performances, raffles, door prizes and much more! I'm looking for a few good ladies to help and take a volunteer shift (only an hour). This could include selling t-shirts, selling raffle tickets, setting up or breaking down. Let me know if you like the sound of this and I can get you more specific info from Suzanne (the main coordinator). Oh and did I mention, free drinks and free admission!
