What up,
folks should pick up a copy of this week's La Conexion when they get a chance - it has coverage of our action at the city council meeting where they were discussing boycotting Arizona over SB-1070 (which Sam christened "BS-1070" at the public hearing!).
Perhaps most significantly is the way that La Conexion is advocating for the boycott. They actually list all the city council members phone numbers and email addresses on the inside of the paper and encourage people to flood their offices with calls and emails in support of the boycott! Impressive!
Anyway, the council is meeting again to have a public hearing and vote on the boycott THIS MONDAY at 7 at 101 City Hall Plaza. Don't forget to show up and demand that the city council stand for justice and support the boycott of Arizona!
Also, if anyone needs a ride, I'd be glad to help arrange rides. Let me know - 919-475-4455
