The vertical space of the separation line is obviously way too huge. But if I try to fiddle around with \vskip or \vfill, the line is not vertically centered between the title and subtitle anymore. This picture shows the right spacing between title and separation line (the spacing between separation line and subtitle is obviously off):

The day I met Maritza happened to be the same day President Trump issued his executive order halting more separations. Families would be allowed to remain together while their asylum claims were considered.

There's a settlement out there called Flores that limits when and how children can be held in detention. We read it as: Children cannot be held in detention alone under any circumstances. But Flores wasn't clear that it applied to children who were with their parents.

It was not until months later that Attorney General Jeff Sessions made the separation policy explicit while on a border visit to San Diego. He said the government had to separate children while their parents were prosecuted for illegal entry.

I was honored to stand next to Jeff Sessions to announce this decision surrounded by many American heroes wearing green with one heckler that probably doesn't know the first thing about serving this nation.

The administration has been creating this false dichotomy, this false choice that the only options are separation or family detention, which they say they couldn't do. The reality is, is that alternatives to detention exist, specifically designed as humane, affordable and effective options.

I cannot come up with a quick and easy way to do what you are asking. You can run your ANOVA and then right click on the connected letters report and either click Make into a Data Table or control click and select Make a Combined Data Table. You then have to wrangle the data little more by combining the different letter columns, but it still doesn't give you or get you everything you want or need to see.

NGK has developed various sub-nano ceramic membranes capable of separating specific gases or liquids from gas-liquid mixtures. These products are instrumental to establishing innovative separation processes that dramatically reduce both costs and energy consumption.

Google considers sub domain as separate website but one common thing with it is that default ip address which is legally not possible to change or use as proxy ip for such purpose. So... NO legal method to force search engines like google to consider subdomains as separate domain.

If you want to keep a clear image and easy navigation system on your main site without mess up with link between subdomains and tools and blogs or whatever, I can suggest you to have only 2 domains (so not so expensive): 1 is the main one, for your web design agency, the other one you can use for tools and experiment and anything you like. This not for Google but also for your pace of mind that keep separate the "experiment" (for example maybe in the future you will shut down a tool).example:

And keep them in 2 different cPanel, not for SEO reason but to keep easy the navigation of the main website without using subdomain that maybe point to folder also reachable from other URL (example: you have a subdomain -sub.example.com- that point to public_html/subdomainfolder. That folder you can reach by sub.example.com but also from example.com/subdomainfolder and this can generate confusion when search engine try to map your site.

The Office of the Federal Register publishes documents on behalf of Federal agencies but does not have any authority over their programs. We recommend you directly contact the agency associated with the content in question.

The eCFR is displayed with paragraphs split and indented to follow the hierarchy of the document. This is an automated process for user convenience only and is not intended to alter agency intent or existing codification.

A separate drafting site is available with paragraph structure matching the official CFR formatting. If you work for a Federal agency, use this drafting site when drafting amendatory language for Federal regulations: switch to eCFR drafting site.

Yes, before receiving reimbursement for moving expenses, you must submit a request to your agency for authorization and approval of your moving expenses with your tentative moving dates and the origin and destination location of your planned move, within the timeframe and format specified by your agency.

Yes, your agency may grant you or your immediate family member(s) (in case of your death) an extension to the time limit for beginning your separation travel, for up to two years from your effective date of separation or death, if death occurs before separation.

The images in Critique of Separation are often taken from comics, ID photos and newspapers, or from other films. In many cases subtitles are added, which may be rather difficult to follow at the same time as the spoken commentary. The people who have been directly filmed are almost always none other than members of the film crew.

This general critique of separation obviously contains and covers some particular memories. A less recognized pain, the awareness of a less explainable indignity. Exactly what separation was it? How quickly we have lived! It is to this point in our unreflecting history that I bring us back.

All this, it must be admitted, is not clear. It is a completely typical drunken monologue, with its incomprehensible allusions and tiresome delivery. With its vain phrases which do not await response, and its overbearing explanations. And its silences.

The opening moments of A Separation lay out the story you'd expect to see in a film about a wife who is leaving her husband: Simin (Leila Hatami) and her bank-clerk spouse, Nader (Peyman Moadi), are explaining heatedly to a judge why they want a separation. Or actually, why they don't want it.

When the sub bass is not consistent or solid (wobbling all over the place), you want to look at what the sound wave looks like by itself. We want the sub bass to look like a regular solid sound wave. Sub bass separation is important to the mixing and mastering process; you want to squeeze every last inch of effect into the sound waves. Start by focusing on the main sound and remove the low end by high-passing the sound wave. You can do this by ear or by 150 Hz. Then, layer in a separate sound wave with the original sound wave. Using the Master EQ, you can see that being with the sub (together at the low end), despite all the crazy movement with the highs and mids, the low end remains static.

Some artists layer a single sine wave in their resampling, meaning sub bass separation is performed per sound. Similarly, you can high pass everything at 150 Hz and create a separate plug-in of a sine wave or take the sub from the source. You will have an unaffected original sub from the actual original plug-in. This is a big difference from the several manual subs versus using the source directly. You are mixing at the sound level and this is especially beneficial because it is a Reese sound that still has phase cancellation doing the pitching. Many plug-ins has this option, like Serum. Serum has a sub oscillator with direct output and this bypasses everything for you to engage your high pass. Serum allows you to change values to achieve the sound you want with different options, such as a sound wave, saturated sound wave, triangle whisk, square wave, and impulse.

Sub bass separation requires processing the sub with clean, unaffected sub frequencies to create unity. This is the solid bass; a clean and unrelated waveform. Processing this way is recommended for mixing and mastering.

CalSTRS must receive the exemption request and required documentation from your employer before you can begin working. If approved, this exemption only applies to the separation-from-service requirement.

Generally, each line should be broken only after a linguistic "whole" or "unit," no matter if it's the only line in the subtitle, or the first or second line in a longer subtitle. This means that sometimes it's necessary to rephrase the subtitle in order to make it possible to break lines without breaking apart any linguistic units, e.g. splitting apart an adjective and the noun that it refers to. Other times, you may need to split a subtitle into two separate subtitles, if rephrasing doesn't help with fitting within 42 characters maximum per line.

This type of rephrasing can be referred to as "compressing" or reducing text. Depending on the context, it may be possible to omit some information, if previous subtitles or other sources (a slide, the viewer's general knowledge) are certain to fill the blanks anyway. This way, you can avoid breaking apart any linguistic units. You can learn more about compressing subtitles from this guide.

This is not necessarily good English, but the target language that you are translating into may allow this sort of phrasing. If possible, try to rephrase the subtitle to make it break cleanly without the need to sever any linguistic units.

Sometimes, there is just no way to break the line without splitting a proper name or a grammatical unit, like separating an article from the noun it refers to. In these cases, you can often split the subtitle itself into two separate subtitles, which will allow you to break the line longer than 42 characters. To split a subtitle, shorten the subtitle's duration using the sliders on the timeline, and then insert a new subtitle in the resulting gap by clicking the "plus" button on the subtitle below it.
